THANATOS: GROUND ZERO Feature Film Synopsis Written and Directed by Trenell Foster Eight days after a mysterious infection plunges society into chaos, the world has become a graveyard of abandoned cities, desperate survivors, and infected humans known as Grabbers. Transmitted through direct skin contact, the infection has turned ordinary people into unpredictable threats, leaving the few remaining survivors struggling to stay alive in a world where trust can be just as dangerous as the infected. As the search for safety becomes increasingly desperate, Wyatt Valentine, brothers Drayton and Jaydin Arrowood, Nora Mason, and her mother, Alexandra, form an uneasy alliance in hopes of reaching a coastal resistance rumored to offer protection. But survival comes at a price, and the group soon discovers that escaping the infected may be easier than confronting the secrets, fear, and difficult choices that threaten to tear them apart. When Alexandra’s infection begins to spread, Nora is forced to confront the consequences of her mother’s condition while the group faces mounting danger. As losses accumulate and the infection claims more lives, Drayton and Jaydin must fight to protect one another and the people depending on them. With their numbers dwindling and hope fading, every decision becomes a question of sacrifice, loyalty, and how much of their humanity they can preserve. As the journey reaches its breaking point, the survivors are pushed toward a final confrontation with the brutal reality of their new world. For those who remain, reaching the coast may represent their last chance at survival.
