Project Details
Six-year-old Leslie is convinced that creatures lurk in the shadows outside her bedroom. Armed with her beloved teddy bear, Christina, she braves the dark hallway for a late-night bathroom trip. When her father, Jorge, carries her back to bed, he shares a comforting lesson: love gives us the courage to face our fears. But when Leslie realizes she left Christina behind, she must venture into the darkness alone. A terrifying creature blocks her path, putting her father’s words to the test. Determined to rescue her bear, Leslie approaches the monster—and politely asks it to move. To her surprise, it does. With Christina safely in her arms, she returns to bed and switches off her nightlight. Blending suspense, humor, and tenderness, this heartfelt short film explores childhood fears, a father’s love, and the bravery we discover when someone we love needs us.
