Jackie Hoffman: I’m honored that a theater kid would look up to me. I was at a convention yesterday, or, this was actually two days ago, and this sweet, musical theater kid was like, “My favorite show is ‘Charlie and The Chocolate Factory,’ and I’m going to go to college and study the arts.” And, you know, as much as I can choke get mired in my own bitterness and disgust, and hopelessness…You hear something like that, and it’s everything.
