While editing a moody romantic short film, director Mikhail and editor Sarah spot an unexplained figure — the Lady in Red — lurking in every take, growing closer with each one. Digging into the footage, they discover the "empty field" they shot in was actually a grave, dressed with ritual offerings Mikhail secretly took as props for the film. Having disturbed something sacred, the pair find themselves stalked through their own edit bay, the haunting bleeding out of the footage and into their studio's webcam feed in real time. As reality and recording blur, the Lady in Red closes the distance — and comes to collect what Mikhail stole. A haunted-footage horror short about theft, desecration, and a spirit that won't stay confined to the screen.
