Generational trauma is real Childhood trauma can be a death sentence for someone's soul And survivors guilt can crush those who love those so damaged and it's still not enough "NEVER GUNNA LEAVE YOU" tells the story of Kristee and Austin, soul mates since their childhood who share a dark secret that almost costs the boy his life and the girl hers eventually And his in time Caught in the crossfire, is their daughter Kennedy who innocently is born into a loving marriage that is so fractured that ultimately she is compromised with the idea that her mother couldn't overcome her past and her father couldn't survive without the love of his life and the guilt that derived from her inability to cope Decisions are made that could cost Kennedy her own soul and own happiness until she learns in time that sometimes those who lose anyone so dear to them despite their best effort didn't fail, it's just things don't always work out. The story is blunt force trauma where over an hour and 35 minutes you will be subjected to learning a lot about compassion empathy and sadness and how to understand that sometimes people are damaged or flawed due to circumstances completely outside their control. And sometimes no matter how hard they try it's just not enough. However, Kennedy comes to an understanding that will change everything and give everyone including her and the audience hope. Remember sometimes it's hard to start with you when you're the victim but maybe if you could start by doing it for those who care about you, your road to recovery could end up finding its way back to you in time. Before it's too late.
