Emma
About the Job
A woman leaving work late at night, tired, on autopilot, crossing an empty parking lot to her car. Over three uninterrupted minutes, she moves from routine exhaustion to mounting unease to genuine fear, with at most a line or two of dialogue. The camera stays on her the entire time. What we're looking for: This role is almost entirely non-verbal. We need an actress with strong physical and reactive instincts: someone who can play exhaustion, distraction, suppressed anxiety, false relief, irritation, and escalating dread, all legibly and truthfully, through body language, breath, and micro-expression, carrying minimal dialogue when it does appear. Naturalistic, restrained performance. Nothing presentational or "horror-movie" broad. Think closer to a held, internal performance than a scream queen. Special skills (a plus, not required): Comfort with extended single-take work; prior experience in dialogue-light or largely visual short film work.
