READ CAREFULLY (Height 5'3 to 5'7) You must be Afro Latina or you won't be accepted. You must look like a teenager and you must know Spanish. We also are looking for someone who can dance. Like hip hop style/Jazz style. Rosa has a Dominican Mother and African American Father. Rosa is a beautiful, introverted, quick-witted, ruthless rogue who is also a very talented and ambitious thief. Rosa lives in the Queens section of Bushwick with her mother Emilia, who has cancer, and her 8 year old brother Oscar, who she treasures and protects heavily. With her mother sick of cancer and out of work (although she gets disability pay though it's not enough), Rosa is forced into being the matriarch of her family and has to find means to feed her family. Rosa works odd jobs but is always fired within a week due to her either stealing for her family or getting into fights with her older coworkers and bosses. Rosa is always on the other side of the Law. Due to the lack of employment, Rosa runs around the city causing break-in and stealing high valued items then selling it for profit. She learned how to pickpocket from a young age. She is pretty much a Stickup kid. She gets arrested when she is 13 years old for Grand Lancery and goes to Juvie for two years. She has history with Shawn as they all grew up together. She especially has history with Shawn, who is her childhood love interest but the two keep getting in and out of each other’s lives so nothing concrete ever built with the two. Rosa and her family moved away a few years prior to the beginning of the series
