Physical: Greek -- educated slave class. Could be beautiful (palace slaves often were) but tries to be invisible. Simple clothing, keeps her head down. Observant, careful in her movements. Has the exhausted, watchful look of someone always in danger. Background: Greek, part of the educated slave class in the Imperial palace. Her lover, Darius, was Aurelius's personal body slave who helped him escape and was executed. She's been trapped in the palace ever since, forced to serve the people who killed her loved one. To survive, she's had to do terrible things -- spy, betray fellow slaves, been forced into sexual service. She's developed a network of other slaves and servants who whisper information to each other. Sees everyone as either a tool or a threat. Motivation: Complete her loved one's mission by helping Aurelius, get revenge on the Domitii, and earn her freedom. Arc: Questions whether she's done so much to survive that she's lost herself, whether she canever truly be free even if she escapes.
