She recognized Aurelius immediately when he arrived at her ludus and has been protecting his identity while using it as leverage. She's ruthless and guile, running a business that profits from death, and is willing to manipulate, lie, and sacrifice others to keep her ludus and ensure her family's future. Motivation: Honor her brother's sacrifice, protect her ludus from the Domitii who are trying to seize it, and secure her family's power by backing the future Emperor. Arc: Walks the line between genuine loyalty and naked self-interest, must decide if Aurelius is a person or a chess piece.
