About the Job
Roger Boisjoly was an engineer who worked for the Morton Thiokol company, who was contracted to help build solid rocket boosters for the Space Shuttle program. Leading up to the attempted launch of the Challenger in 1986, Roger had tried numerous times to voice concerns regarding safety issues with the rocket as well as pushing to postpone the launch itself. Although his efforts were tireless and substantial, his concerns were blatantly ignored and pushed aside. We are covering historical events and theories surrounding the Challenger disaster.
