About the Job

Ronald McNair was a physicist and astronaut who tragically passed away alongside his fellow crew members aboard the Challenger in 1986. Born and raised in South Carolina, McNair was the second ever African American astronaut to enter space during a 1984 space mission. He was incredibly academically, athletically, and musically accomplished. We are covering historical events and theories surrounding the Challenger disaster.
