Vyshyvanka
Project Details
Sofiia Kovalenko, 22, has one night left in her late grandmother’s shop and owes $8,400 she doesn’t have. A buyer offers $9,500 for the family rushnyk, an heirloom cloth. Sofiia refuses, borrows from the lender she has been avoiding, and finally opens the FINAL NOTICE. By morning the shop is closed and she walks away holding the rushnyk, with her grandmother beside her until she fades.
