About the Job

Lauren is a bright, hard-working young woman who enjoys spending time with her friends and family and also enjoys working for Amy, one of Lauren's cousin's friends, helping Amy get her small business off the ground. Lauren is very happy with her relationship with her boyfriend Michael and believes that the two of them can definitely build a wonderful future together, but when she sees his laughing reaction to the young women in the video of the promotional event Michael was tasked with at his job, Lauren is immediately filled with jealousy. Lauren did not expect to feel this way and is initially alarmed and uncomfortable at her reaction; she never wanted to be "jealous" in a negative way. But when Lauren realizes that these feelings stem from a genuine desire to have her own way to bring spontaneity and joy to her boyfriend in their relationship, which is not something they share together, Lauren feels much better and decides to use her feelings as fuel to help her develop her own way to enrich her relationship. When Lauren is successful, she feels deep satisfaction and triumph and incredible warmth toward her boyfriend for his participating and allowing himself to let her in closer to him. The experience deepens their bond and adds a new aspect to their relationship while bringing more laughter and joy into their time together.
