She Loves Me, He Loves Me Not

Short Film SAG-AFTRA, Ultra Low Budget Film
Chicago
Synopsis:

She Loves Me, He Loves Me Not is a performance-driven relationship drama about love, loyalty, and power when a pregnancy forces unresolved truths into the open. Derek, a Chicago music producer on the brink of breaking through, has just kicked his longtime friend and collaborator, Keith, out of his apartment. Hours later, Derek and Sandra—his partner—are reckoning with two life-altering realities: their fractured relationship and the fact that they’ve just found out they’re having a baby together. Past infidelity from a less-serious phase of the relationship lingers beneath the surface. Now, the future demands clarity. This is an intimate, dialogue-heavy ensemble piece designed as a high-level scene study with strong reel moments.
