Margot
About the Job
We are looking for interesting individuals.. David Lynch vibes, Duane Hanson-esque characters, interesting individuals with strong acting abilities. Character Profile: A formidable, sharp, and traditionally structured former criminal prosecutor. Margot spent thirty years playing exactly by the rules, only to find herself abruptly cast aside by the system she upheld. Underneath her manicured exterior lies a profound, dangerous current of late-stage desperation and a sudden, reckless urge to finally feel alive. Context & Directorial Note: In this scene, Margot tracks Lola down at her workplace (a restaurant). Years ago, Margot was the prosecutor who put Lola away for hot-wiring an Audi. Now, a few glasses of wine deep, disheveled, and breaking apart at the seams, Margot is on an unexpected mission. Her ego is deeply bruised. This is a raw, high-stakes moment of uncharacteristic vulnerability; she is revealing a frantic, hopeful side of herself that Lola has never seen before. We need to see the friction between her rigid, stuffy past and the volatile, biting sting of her current desperation.
