Synopsis:

Mixed eMotion Theatrix is seeking dancers for multiple productions in our 2026–2027 Season. Mixed eMotion Theatrix is a Dance Theater company creating hybrid work that has toured worldwide. We are looking for dancers with strong theatricality, musicality, and technique, as well as a fun, positive attitude. Dancers must be willing to push performance to a theatrical level, be comfortable in various styles, demonstrate strong individual performance, and be open to working collaboratively as part of an ensemble. We are interested in dancers who want to tell stories with their movement. From Gatsby Redux bringing the audience into a new time period to the Shadow bringing the audience into a different realm, we want dancers who are passionate about bringing a world to life!

Project Notes

All dancers will be considered for both shows: Gatsby Redux Gatsby Redux is a full-length, site-specific work inspired by The Great Gatsby performed this Fall at: Greystone Mansion (Beverly Hills) September 15–17, 19 Harbourfront Centre (Toronto) September 22–28 Rehearsals: Times TBD, Evenings in Hollywood: July 27 – September 14 The Shadow The Shadow is a original full-length Musical to be performed this Summer at La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts. Seeking Ensemble Dancers for developmental material. Dancers will receive Puppeteer Training from World-Renowned Puppeteer Janni Younge. Rehearsals 3 times a Week. Sunday, Monday, and Thursday nights in Hollywood June 8- 28th 5 days a week 3-9pm (off on Fridays and Saturdays) July 6th-25th Rehearsals continue at La Mirada Theatre July 26th-August 19th La Mirada Performances August 20th-23rd Additional Performances 2027 Spring and Winter
