Hell Week
Project Details
Hell Week follows Jolo, a Filipino college student struggling to balance the expectations of his traditional mother with the freedom he finds on his competitive dance team. During an exhausting week of rehearsals leading up to a major competition, Jolo becomes increasingly aware of his complicated feelings for his longtime friend and teammate, EJ. After a confrontation at home forces Jolo to confront feelings he has struggled to articulate, EJ takes him on a spontaneous night of adventure, which culminates at a hillside overlook at sunrise, where Jolo finally attempts to act on his feelings—only to discover that EJ may not feel the same way.
