Beneath his polished, engaging on-air presence, Alex carries the unresolved grief of losing his wife and young daughter four years earlier. During a live broadcast on the anniversary of their deaths, a series of impossible calls forces Alex to confront a horrifying truth connected to his own past. Seeking an actor with strong charisma, emotional range, natural vocal presence, and excellent reaction work. The performer must convincingly command a microphone and audience while gradually transitioning from confident host to a man emotionally unraveling in real time. Comedy, stand-up, podcasting, hosting, or strong improvisational experience is a plus. Dramatic ability is essential. Age and ethnicity are flexible for the right performer.
