Doomscroll
Casting "Doomscroll," a supernatural horror-thriller set in the Gullah-influenced Lowcountry of coastal South Carolina and Georgia. When Sam, a grieving young man, returns to his late father's coastal inn to close up the property, he and his friends uncover decades of obsessive research, and come face to face with the Gray Man, a legendary spectral figure said to appear before hurricanes. Rooted in grief, isolation, and the cost of refusing connection, the film weaves Gullah folklore into a grounded, atmospheric story about a son reckoning with his father's disappearance and the supernatural truth he refused to believe. Character-driven and emotionally resonant, "Doomscroll" asks what we miss when we stop listening, to the people we love, and to the warnings around us.
