Beholder
“BEHOLDER” is a neon soaked, 80s-inspired slasher / psychological horror set in quiet Bay Area suburbs. The story follows Rex, a predator who stalks young women at night until his reality fractures and he begins waking up inside the bodies of his own victims. The film plays heavily with POV, identity, and karma, mixing vintage horror vibes with a surreal, mind-bending twist. Tonal references: retro slashers, VHS era suburban horror, practical gore, colored lighting, emotionally grounded performances inside a genre movie. This is a student led, indie production with a young, collaborative crew. There is staged violence, blood effects, and intense emotional material for several roles.
