About the Job

This is a dual role performing both The Man and The Creature (the same entity) at different intervals in the story. They are largely physical performances with no dialogue. In the story The Man is a sexual predator but no sexual assault is shown, only implied when he corners the female protagonist at night. The main thing we need here is a creepy and lifeless smile. In the climax of the film the role requires to be covered in fake blood and a thick fluid. The Creature is the protagonist's nightmare of her unborn child. Think adult-sized Gollum but entirely in silhouette. This will require body paint and bicycle shorts (so there's no actual nudity). The instances where the creature is seen are mostly in quick flashes but there is a scene of crawling on all fours and creeping around a corner where movement is important. The content covers themes of sexual assault, pregnancy and birth trauma in the body horror genre. 4-5 days shooting in December, requiring 2 night shoots. Based in Sydney.
