DAVID. Male, 60s. Lead. A man walking back into a room he used to sit in, under the pretense of an errand. Courteous, guarded, closer to saying the true thing than he means to get. "I used to count the exits in here" and "I wasn't good to them" are the two places he opens. Most of the part is played in silence with the camera on his face, so the actor needs to be able to hold a frame without filling it.
