Once-Returner
Project Details
ONCE-RETURNER is a short dramatic film. Late on a winter night, David, a man in his sixties, walks into what used to be his Wednesday night meeting and finds it has become a meditation center. Micah, who works there and is closing up, offers him coffee and a chair. They talk. The whole film takes place in one room, in near silence, over a single evening. It is a quiet two-hander about recovery, estrangement from one's children, and two strangers sitting down across from each other.
