Ai Likeness Actor

About the Job

We are casting one adult performer to create the face, voice and personality of a conversational AI character. In the public demo, anyone will be able to have a short, live, unscripted conversation with the character. It will generate new responses in the performer’s likeness, rather than simply replay recorded scenes. The character should feel like someone you would enjoy being introduced to: exceptionally warm, engaging and quick-thinking, with natural curiosity and gentle humour. We’re looking for an approachable, understated screen presence and someone who can listen, respond and make spontaneous conversation feel easy. Across approximately five paid recording days, the performer will work with creative direction on improvised conversations, reactions, facial expressions and vocal delivery. The recording will also provide the face and voice material used to build the character. Sessions are expected within the next month at a US location to be confirmed. Production will cover necessary travel and accommodation. Proposed compensation is $600 per recording day (approximately $3,000 for five days), plus a separate $10,000 likeness licence fee. The proposed initial licence is nonexclusive and covers three months of worldwide use for the public interactive demo and related promotion and paid ads, as well as internal development and private demonstrations. Any renewal or later customer product use would require a further agreement and payment. Permitted uses, safeguards and withdrawal terms will be agreed in a separate written likeness agreement before recording.
