About the Job
MICHAEL — 20s, Male Michael is warm, a little goofy, and quick on his feet. He's charming without trying too hard, and his comic timing is key: when the waiter mistakenly wishes him and Jackie a happy anniversary, Michael doesn't correct the mistake, he commits to it fully, deadpan ("Thank you bro") and even winks at Jackie to pull her into the bit. He's confident enough to improvise on the spot but has an underlying sincerity that surfaces by the end, when the joke gives way to a genuine, nervous ask to see Jackie again. Needs strong chemistry with Jackie and the ability to play both broad comedy and quiet vulnerability in the same scene.
