Owen Brown
Broken: Enemies Attract
About the Job
Male, 18+ to play 17, Korean-American. Owen is the archetypal golden boy whose confidence has curdled into entitlement, a young man so accustomed to social and material advantage that he has lost the capacity to genuinely reflect on his own behavior. He is charming on the surface and skilled at performing remorse, but his apologies consistently circle back to what he stands to lose rather than the harm he has caused. His ego is fragile beneath the bluster, and he is most destabilized not by confrontation but by indifference, particularly Laney's. He is competent and driven in athletics but uses his status as a shield against accountability. Owen is not a villain so much as a cautionary portrait of privilege left unchecked. *Talent must be comfortable with on-camera intimacy (passionate kissing). An on-set intimacy coordinator will be present for all levels of intimacy. Additionally, there will be some action work in which Owen pushes Miles and Owen throws a punch at Miles. There will be an on-set stunt coordinator present for all action work. *Talent must be based in Los Angeles or able to work as an LA local hire in order to be considered for this role. *The role of OWEN is expected to shoot three (3) days.
