Cultured Foodie Host
Foodies W/ An Accent - Louisiana
About the Job
Seeking talent with a distinctive, non-American accent that feels worldly, warm, and culturally engaging. We are seeking someone deeply rooted in Louisiana’s culinary scene — whether a chef, Cajun or Creole cook, fisherman, oyster shucker, pitmaster, bartender, restaurateur, or respected foodie — who genuinely lives and breathes the culture and cuisine of the region. This person should have a true appreciation for bayou life, seafood traditions, live-fire cooking, local markets, family recipes, music, storytelling, and the deep connection between food, heritage, and community throughout Louisiana. Above all, they must be a natural storyteller with the ability to engage meaningfully with individuals and draw out history, humor, and heart through conversation. The role calls for someone who can guide us through Louisiana’s rich culinary heritage with authenticity, curiosity, warmth, and ease. Talent should feel comfortable in a variety of environments including working kitchens, outdoor bayou settings, airboat experiences, seafood markets, local restaurants, and upscale dining spaces. Talent must also be comfortable eating seafood on camera. Strong preference for talent already local to Louisiana or deeply connected to the regional culinary scene. THIS IS A LOCAL HIRE ROLE. WE WILL BE SENDING OUT TAPE REQUESTS TO THOSE SUITED - QUICK TURNAROUND TIME.
