About the Job
Young, energetic, attractive, reckless, and fully caught up in the nightlife scene. These characters live for the moment — chasing parties, music, hookups, excitement, and the next high. Open to all genders, ethnicities, and body types, they bring vibrant energy, unpredictability, and raw realism to the world of Midtown Sacramento after dark. Their goal is simple: have a good time, escape reality, experiment with drugs, and stay lost in the chaos of the night for as long as possible. Actors should be comfortable with improvisational dialogue, club environments, emotional highs and lows, and portraying the freedom and danger that comes with living fast. THERE ARE NO REAL DRUGS ON SET. Alcohol will be in a generic bottle and consist of apple juice or colored water and actors will not be required to drink from the prop. The appearance of cocaine will be baking soda and baking powder and small plastic bags placed on set on a table where actors will act and be managed by the second assistant Director. Actors will not be required to touch or use the substance.
