My Midtown Hustle

The Midtown Hustle is a gritty urban thriller set in the heart of Sacramento, where survival, ambition, loyalty, and betrayal collide over the course of three dangerous days. The story follows Jude, a charismatic but emotionally guarded young hustler who suddenly finds himself under crushing pressure to come up with money tied to a situation far bigger and darker than himself. As the clock ticks, Jude navigates the city’s underground economy, strained friendships, hidden enemies, and his own internal conflict between survival and conscience. Alongside him is Marshawn, a loyal but unpredictable friend who senses Jude is spiraling toward something irreversible. Set against the backdrop of Midtown Sacramento’s nightlife, streets, patios, apartments, and hidden corners, the series blends raw dialogue, emotional tension, and fast-moving suspense with themes of masculinity, desperation, pride, love, and the psychological cost of trying to stay afloat in a city where everybody is chasing something.
