About the Job
A Queens original, Middle Eastern or Latino. Boom is the conductor of the room. He/she works the register at the pizzeria, keeps the line moving, calls out orders, and gives the shop its front-of-house tempo. He/She is loud, but never randomly loud — everything he/she does has purpose. He/She knows the regulars, names the pies, keeps the lunch rush alive, and acts as the first gatekeeper when Jazz arrives.
