CONCEPT: A woman is inspired to refresh her space while scrolling through a socials app. The swipe gesture becomes a comical magical gateway to making her home and wardrobe new for spring. TONE: The playfulness and the comedy come from “natural performances” meeting the absurdity of a new “super power”. No mugging. No cartoon reactions. Natural, fun. Confident. Improv/comedic timing a bonus. There needs to be an awareness of the comedy of the spot, without ‘trying to be funny’ or over-the-top. GENERAL NOTE - while using phone in audition , please cheat the phone up a bit, to make sure we see your expressions and how you feel, otherwise we’re looking at the top of your head! SLATE -First Name and Last Name ( Head and shoulder shot) -Height -Full Body Shot SCENE- Scripts attached- please give us a couple of takes per scene, and light improv is encouraged! React any way you like when you come in, at first it’s a normal day, then your girlfriend swipes and your pants transform to beach shorts. She swipes again and you gain a t-shirt.
