11 year old boy (any ethnicity) He is a curious, intelligent boy who is desperate for freedom and friends because his mother keeps him locked away in their home, not even letting him go to school. His only friend is a Robot his mom buys him to quell his loneliness. The robot becomes a gateway to other children who share Eli's adventurousness and through the robot’s encouragement Eli goes against his mother’s rules and sets out on an adventure into the woods that will lead to the truth being revealed.
