Performing as a Community Violence Intervention (CVI) professional, who will use mediation and counseling tools to help a young man who’s at risk of perpetuating gun violence. In taking our community member through breathing exercises, her performance may give the sense that she’s struggled with some of the same things in the past and has found a better way forward. Also be able to convey empathy, support, and wisdom as she communicates, while using her skills to resolve the issue and support. Comes off as a lady from the neighborhood who understands the struggle. A little sassy and gritty. Accents and dialects encouraged.
