About the Job

Captain Scott was a British Royal Navy officer and explorer, and leader of the Terra Nova Expedition (1910-1913). In January of 1912, Scott led a party of five which reached the South Pole, this was less than five weeks after Amundsen's South Pole expedition. The expedition didn’t go to plan and on the way back, a planned meeting with a support dog team failed. Scott and his team died before they could complete their returning journey.
