About the Job
A depressed but talented painter who made his living creating explicit pop-culture art. Emotionally stuck after a breakup, Patrick craves connection but is deeply uncomfortable with power, intimacy, and exploitation. This is a lead role. Must be extremely comfortable w/nudity. Any scenes involving nudity or intimacy will be rehearsed and supervised by an Intimacy Coordinator and will be filmed on a closed set with only essential crew involved. Actors will be able to ask any questions they have long beforehand and any concerns they have will be addressed promptly. While this is a sex positive movie that handles the sexuality with frankness, we will also avoid handling it in a way that's pornographic or excessively gratuitous. Most of the scenes in question are either played for laughs or used to explore character dynamics. Anybody curious will be allowed to fully read the script and make any inquiries before signing on.Would be roughly 20 days of shooting in Duluth, MN. Pls include in NOTES section that you're comfortable w/full nudity & if you'd be able to make yourself local to Duluth MN, if cast. Thx!
