Seeking a male actor ages 40–70 to play the boss of the lead character. In the opening scene, he delivers the difficult news that the lead is being let go. The role requires a strong, grounded presence and the ability to convey authority mixed with discomfort, guilt, and restraint. He is not portrayed as cruel, but as someone caught in a difficult corporate decision. Performance should be subtle and realistic, relying on facial expressions, body language, and tone rather than overacting. Must be comfortable portraying a serious, emotionally weighted office scene. Prior acting experience preferred.
