About the Job
Self Tape Instructions (REQUIRED): Please include two parts in one video: 1️⃣ Voiceover Read Perform a romantic / yearning / comedic VO with emotional range. Read the line “I don’t even know his name… I just know the way he moves makes me forget everything else.” Southern flavor encouraged. Show variety: sweet, swoony, playful, slightly horny, heartfelt. 2️⃣ Silent Acting No dialogue. Perform a sequence of reactions: • Romantic swoon • Playful longing • Amused appreciation • Subtle guilt / reality check moment Show range — not one note. Character Description: Irene is the romantic, comedic heart of the spot. She is expressive, emotionally open, playful, and slightly unhinged in the best way. She spends the commercial lost in an over-the-top fantasy about her perfect man — swooning, longing, admiring, flirting with the idea of desire, and fully indulging in a romance-novel-level daydream. Her inner world is big, funny, relatable, and visually entertaining. She must have excellent silent acting skills. Most of her performance is non-verbal, driven by facial expressions, breath, posture, and micro-reactions. We need an actor who can tell a full story without speaking. Voiceover plays an important role — warm, charming, emotionally rich, with a slight Southern flavor preferred. At the end, she snaps back to reality, awakening to her very normal husband, with a flicker of guilt, surprise, and sheepish affection. That emotional shift is critical and should be played with clarity and humor.
