About the Job
Carina is a kind and caring person. She is still in college, is very much focused on her studies, wants to teach high school literature, and is often tired and overworked. She likes Jaime, but it’s unclear how much or in what way. In the past she’s shown an interest in him. In a potential future, she loves him, and he loves her. But in the present, she may be having similar anxieties to Jaime, or is unsure of her own feelings towards him. The story is told from the perspective of Jaime making Carina’s exact feelings a mystery to the audience, but she does like Jaime at the end of the day.
