10-15yrs. Any Gender, Latin or Afro Latino. TALENT MUST BE ABLE TO PLAY MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS with a latin style and be able to learn a new short song in a week.. Example: think ‘Bomba y Plena.” Plena rhythms, Bomba textures. EXAMPLES of the types of MUSICAL instruments we’re looking for kids to be able to play. And we would LOVE it if they play Caribbean instruments specifically. Examples of instruments: GUIRO, PANDEROS, CUATRO, BONGO, CONGA, MARACAS, SAXOPHONE, TRUMPET, GUITAR, ACCORDION. We are NOT looking for singers. We are looking for kids who play musical instruments and can read music at an intermediate to advanced level. If you’re in a kid latin music band and your other band mates want to participate and are available, GREAT! Tell them and have them submit too!
