Early 20s to late 20s, Male, Broadly European. 5’11 to 6’2 in height, medium length and dark hair, broad-shouldered, robust build (i.e. size L-XL shirt, 32-36” waist). Francisco is a soldier through-and-through, in the New World for gold and glory. Like many others of his time, he comes from a somewhat-knightly family that recently fell upon difficult times. As such, he is hungry, focused, and combative. However, this is tempered by worry for his brother Alonso, who lacks Francisco’s experience; perhaps part of his demeanor is an overconfident air for his brother’s sake. Facially, a Mediterranean complexion with a relatively strong brow ridge and/or nose shape would be preferred, though not to the extent that it ages the character up too much. Physically, he is athletic and robust, with a sort of linebacker-between- plays resting body language. He views his presence in Mexico as a professional opportunity, the biggest of his “career” to date. As such, his comportment is somewhere between that of a modern soldier and a Wolf of Wall Street type. Like Diego, his hair would generally be kept medium- length, and facial hair is an option.
