Grew up down the street from Nadia — they used to skateboard together as teenagers (trish did the skating, nadia did video/sound capturing) a sarcastic and artistic match for nadia, but more present in their body and queerness. their childhoods overlapped in the only daughter of a larger family kind of way — trish and their mom are close, their mom is a retired percussionist. trish is the manager of one of the only bipoc-lesbian owned spaces in nyc, having left the corporate art world as a curator recently. is relieved her childhood friend is back in the city but mitigating the blurred lines of an “elder cousin” friend and just a friend. this role offers brief but impactful screen time with a mix of dry humor, a relieving calm that comes across physically (juxtaposed to our protagonist, who trish interfaces with the most) and should be fluid + comfortable with whining/general dance movement.
