HINTER Horror-Drama Independent Feature Film (non-union) Logline: Two strangers, both haunted by profound loss, are stranded in the depths of the German Black Forest. With a language barrier separating them, they must overcome their trauma and unite to confront a dark force that threatens them both. Synopsis: After being burned at the stake during the German witch trials centuries ago, Anna Hilke's spirit went dormant in the infamous Schwarzwald (Black Forest) until local ghost hunter Warren Müller releases Anna's spirit, unleashing havoc. Meanwhile, a group of travelers, in the heart of Germany’s Black Forest, descend into paranoia as mysterious deaths force them to question who among them can be trusted. SHOOT DATES: Shoot will take place between August 6th – August 30th, 2025. (Rates & expected number of shoot dates are listed in the role descriptions.) FILMING LOCATION: Elbe & Leavenworth, Washington · Travel: Mileage offered to talent traveling over 50 miles to set. · Accommodations: Overnight accommodations will be provided for roles that shoot more than 1 one day. · Meals will be provided to all talent on set. GENERAL PROJECT NOTES FOR ADULT ROLES: · Specific rates & number of shoot days are listed in the role description. · 20% agent fee is offered to represented talent, (if applicable). · Filming is based on a 10hr shoot day, OT will be offered after 10 hrs, (if applicable). GENERAL PROJECT NOTES FOR MINORS (UNDER 18): · Minors must be accompanied by a guardian on set. · If minor is filming with their real parent, an additional guardian is allowed and recommended to come to set. · All state guidelines regarding filming with minors will be strictly followed. · Number of filming hours per day is dependent on the minors age (listed in the role descriptions). · Permissible work hours for minors are between 7:00AM and 7:00PM. · Rates & required number of shoot days are listed in the role descriptions. · 20% agent fee is offered to represented talent, (if applicable). General Trigger Warning: This film contains scenes that may be distressing to some viewers. It includes depictions of violence and implied potential self-harm. Reader discretion is advised. TRIGGER WARNING FOR ALL REAL MOM + REAL CHILDREN ROLES: - Please note that all three characters—REAL MOM, REAL (4-6 Y/O) SON “HANS,” and REAL BABY (UNDER 2 Y/O) —are implied to die within the story. However, no scenes involving violence, stunts, or depictions of death will be filmed with the child actors. Their participation will be limited to emotionally sensitive, age-appropriate scenes only. All work with children will be conducted with complete care, safety, and emotional well-being prioritized at all times. - The role of REAL MOM will include one scene that depicts her character’s death. The actress cast must be comfortable performing this moment, which could involve the use of simulated blood and basic prosthetic makeup. POTENTIAL TERMS: The film is being independently financed and does not currently have distribution secured. However, it is intended to be sold to distributor(s) for domestic and international marketplaces. Though final exhibition outlets are at distributor(s) discretion, the foreseeable intended exhibition outlets could potentially, but are not guaranteed, to Include any of the following: · International Festivals · Theatrical · Premium Video On Demand (PVOD) · Streaming Video On Demand (SVOD) · TV Broadcast · Licensed Use Cases (e.g., Airlines) All Washington Residents (regardless of role) will be asked to fill out a Declaration of Residency and provide one or all of the following: · Proof of WA State License · Proof of WA State Voter Card · Proof of 6 months of Utility bills in their name
