Peter Jaysen and Alan Gasmer’s Veritas Entertainment are behind the movie based on the bestselling memoir My Mama Cass from Elliot’s daughter, Owen Elliot-Kugell.

Zoë Winters (Succession), Tony Macht (The Comeback) Ravi V. Patel (Animal Control) and Will Yun Lee (The Good Doctor) have been tapped for major recurring roles in The Off Weeks, Apple TV‘s eight-episode limited series starring and executive produced by Jessica Chastain and Ben Stiller, from director Michael Showalter, showrunner Alissa Nutting and Apple Studios.
