After a multi-country casting search, young English actor Jack Alldridge has landed the lead in Foster Dade, Hulu‘s YA drama pilot written by Greg Berlanti and Bash Doran and directed by Daniel Minahan, which comes from Warner Bros. TV and studio-based Berlanti Productions.

From acclaimed screenwriter Tony McNamara (The Great, Poor Things), the six-part series is a sardonic look at a young couple’s relationship, starring two of the hottest talents out of the U.K. at the moment, fresh off the success of Superman (Hoult) and Twisters (Edgar-Jones).

Macfadyen will be joined by Charlie Hunnam (Monster, Sons of Anarchy) in the role of British intelligence officer Alec Leamas, Daniel Brühl (Inglorious Basterds, Rush) as East German spy Jens Fielder, and Devrim Lingnau Islamoğlu (The Empress) as Doris Quinz, aka Agent Tulip.

Starz has announced six cast members joining the upcoming Power: Origins, including Jason Dirden, who will reprise his role as Traymont Stinson from Power Book III: Raising Kanan.
