About the Job

Mid-20s to 30. Indigenous Mexican/Central American, varied in height. In-shape, fit body types. Six non-speaking roles, two speaking roles. Long hair preferred, or willing to partially shave. This production includes eight Aztec warriors and one scout, forming a small detachment on patrol between villages. All should be well-sized men, aside from the scout, who is younger and leaner. Hair varied greatly among these men, though a complete lack of facial hair was a constant. No specific features are required here, but the general look must be that of a soldier, or more accurately a hunter. All must be solid physical actors, comfortable in potentially awkward or minimal costuming. The core thing here is the ability to sell danger – the Spanish are in their hunting grounds. The two speaking roles must be able to convincingly say their line in Nahuatl. Physically imposing presence, ideally athleticism in movement (like a boxer). Comfortable outdoors.
