Synopsis:

When a group of teens land summer jobs at a small town movie theater in the 90s they learn long shifts, late shows, and first heartbreaks turn one season into memories they’ll carry long after the lights come up.

Project Notes

This is a fun, exploratory acting challenge for my script The Cinema Summer. This is NOT an audition for the film. The script is in very early stages, so this is a chance to play with the characters, explore the dialogue, and have fun. I would love to see your take on the characters. Have fun with it and make it your own. Bloopers welcome :) Info on the scene: It’s the summer of ’99 at a small-town movie theater. Pete is starting to crush on the new hire, Abby, and Nate is NOT letting it slide.
