About the Job
JASON MILLER (24) is an aspiring actor who has spent years chasing his breakthrough with little to show for it. Determined but increasingly exhausted by rejection, Jason enters what appears to be another ordinary audition and finds himself confronted by a mysterious producer who refuses to let him hide behind rehearsed answers. As the audition becomes increasingly surreal, Jason is forced to confront his fear of failure, his strained relationship with his father, and whether he has spent years performing a version of himself rather than being honest about who he is. This is an emotionally demanding lead role requiring vulnerability, restraint, strong dramatic instincts, and the ability to carry the majority of the film. LEAD. Strong dramatic performance required.
