Mrs. Perkins is a frail woman in her 70s, gaunt and almost skeletal after spending years chained in the basement of her own home. Once a domineering and emotionally abusive mother, she ruled her family through fear, manipulation, and control, leaving deep psychological scars that continue to shape both of her sons. Though physically weak, Mrs. Perkins remains a deeply unsettling presence. Her cruelty is quiet, calculated, and deeply ingrained, making it clear how years of abuse transformed her children into the men they became. The role requires an actress capable of conveying immense psychological weight with very limited dialogue. Despite limited screen time, Mrs. Perkins is one of the film's most pivotal characters, serving as the source of the brothers' trauma and the catalyst for the story's emotional climax.
