Live Performers

About the Job

Seeking talented individuals who are able to perform live for up to one hour at the V.A. in Los Angeles. This is truly a meaningful way to put your skills to work. Performances are typically 1 hour on Thursday afternoons, 2:00-3:00p. We are seeking musicians, singers, small bands, dancers, Dance instructors (adaptive for seniors), jugglers/circus performers, Holiday-themed programs, Comedians (please only those without profanity or controversial subjects that would not play well with this audience), Magicians, Veteran speakers, Animal-based programs, Interactive game shows/trivia, Educational speakers/lectures – military history, American history, science, nature - or if you have any other skill sets that would translate for a small venue to engage with our nations veterans, we want to know about it! Selected performers will be able to choose from a variety of dates that work best for you. You may post about the event/your volunteer time on social medias (please just do not include photos of the residents and/or patients without permission).
