Liv
About the Job
Character Overview: Liv is smart, socially sharp, funny, slightly messy, and deeply observant. She becomes Selene’s closest workplace ally while quietly clocking every emotional shift between Marcus and Selene before either of them admit it themselves. Liv provides energy, tension relief, and social commentary without becoming comic relief. Beneath her humor is subtle ambition and occasional resentment toward elite corporate systems. Performance Notes: Needs strong comedic timing mixed with realism. Should feel like a real workplace friend — not a sitcom sidekick. Comparable Energy: Issa Rae supporting-character energy mixed with Natasha Rothwell sharpness. Key Traits: Funny. Perceptive. Fast-talking. Loyal. Slightly chaotic.
